Hi, my name is Pickles, the family cocker spaniel of one of the co-inventors of pickleball.  I used to chase stray balls and then hide in the bushes, so they named the game after me. I am very proud.

Don’t know how to get started?

Paddles and balls are available at the courts. Lessons for novices are available and can be scheduled by signing up at the Pickleball courts. Novice lessons include rules of play, how to keep score, playing instructions and safety guidelines.

If after completing novice lessons you decide that Pickleball is for you, join the Pickleball Club at a cost of $10.00 per year, and we will see you on the courts. Simply print the membership application. Bring the completed form, along with your check, to the pickleball mailbox in Judith Ponder’s office at The Horizon Center.

Lessons are available periodically for Novice, High Beginners/Low Intermediate, and Mid/High Intermediate players — check the calendar. You must be a member of the Pickleball Club to schedule High Beginner/Low Intermediate and Mid/High Intermediate lessons and to participate in league play. Watch for News items.
